The Mexico City Metro has launched a photographic exhibition dedicated to the iconic band Queen at the Auditorio station. Open to the public, this showcase celebrates their musical legacy and features notable imagery from their early years, providing fans a unique glimpse into their history.

The Collective Transport System (STC) Metro announced in a statement on October 26, 2024, that starting from that same day, there will be a photographic exhibition dedicated to the famous band Queen for all passengers in Mexico City. The exhibition is titled "The British Station" and is dedicated to the iconic rock band.

The photographic exhibition is located in the display cases of the Auditorio station on line 7, which is orange, in the Miguel Hidalgo borough. This station has been known as the "British Station" since 2018 when it was adapted to the style of London transport in collaboration with the British Embassy.

The exhibition "Queen I" features 11 medium format images, including photos captured by photographer Douglas Puddifoot showing the band in their early years. Passengers and the general public will be able to enjoy this exhibition for free.

The inauguration of the photographic exhibition took place on Saturday, October 26, with the presence of officials from the British Embassy in Mexico and the public interested in the legendary English band Queen. The exhibition aims to reflect the most iconic moments of the musical career of the iconic group.
